The year 2012 has been quite the whirlwind for Paraphernalia Clothing to say the least, however, within the midst of all the new developments, we managed to put together a commercial with #MAF (Michael Artis Films). Teaming up with Michael Artis and the crew, we were able to produce some AMAZING visuals for the clothing line!! S/O to @Doughbeezy for showing love during the shoot, S/O to all of the ladies involved as well, @TokyoDiamond713 and @gopeaches1 for their great work!! Last but not least, S/O to @MICHAEL_ARTIS and the #MAF crew for producing such an clean and crisp visual for us and making our vision come to life!

Doughbeezy in the Nike Air Foamposite One "Metallic Red" with a Cardinal Paraphernalia "Baked Goods" shirt
Funny story about how we even found out that the Paraphernalia “Baked Goods” tee was prominently displayed on Nicekicks.com. It goes a little something like this.. We happen to end up meeting up with Doughbeezy, and in the midst of the “session” that we were partaking in, we began to just talk about how crazy #SXSW was for Doughbeezy. So, we talked about all the connections he made, what Paraphernalia’s plans were for the future as well as Doughbeezy’s upcoming concert on Friday March 23rd (HEY, IF YOU HAVEN’T GOTTEN YOUR TICKETS YET, GO DO THAT ASAP!! WAREHOUSE LIVE MARCH 23rd!!) and then in mid puff, Doughbeezy says, “Oh, by the way, they got a live ass picture of me in ya’ll shit on Nicekicks.com!!” After he says this, we all kind of look at each other and simultaneously we all grab our iPhones and immediately go to the “SXSW Celebrity Sneaker Stalker” post, and “voila” there it was.. Plain as day. Funny thing is we were more excited to see Doughbeezy get his shine, because the man is TRUE HUSTLER and he’s very serious about his craft, and that’s a sight to see in itself.. But in the midst of all this, classic Doughbeezy emerged and he gave us this gem, “Man, you know what’s funny? They call it the Celebrity Sneaker Stalker Series, but I’m the ONLY REGULAR NIGGA on there!” That right there is the reason we rocks with Doughbeezy, he is as humble as they come and he was as excited as we were. S/O to Nicekicks for the love shown to Doughbeezy and S/O to Doughbeezy for showing us MAJOR love..

Working with a visionary such as Michael Artis, brings out the best in design from Paraphernalia Clothing. As a director, Michael Artis takes pride in his craft and has elevated the careers of many artists based on his visual expertise. With that being said, he needed a shirt that visually captures his visual artistry, which is bold, classic and innovative. The end result, well…. Ya’ll see the end result!! My man SHUT SXSW DOWN!!

What more can you ask for from one of Houston’s premier artist? I remember the first time I heard those first few notes from “Still Tippin” and I knew (in my Kevin Hart voice) “It’s about to go DOWN”!! Well, fast forward to 2012, and after hearing the song “Right Now” ft. D-Boss, I have that same feeling… With G-Luck Productions on the beat and Michael Artis Films on the visuals, Paul Wall found the right balance to take this song to the top! Cameos from Slim Thug, Doughbeezy, Propain, Big Boss E, Marcus Manchild, G-Luck, B-Don and countless others, it was a show of support from the Houston artist that will push Houston back to the forefront! Be on the lookout for Paraphernalia in the video as well as Paul Wall’s new mixtape, “No Sleep Til Houston”
Fast forward to 1:02 mark for Tim Vocals (He crushed this shit!!)
Fast forward to 2:30 mark for Tim Vocals “Green Impala” joint… (Dude is ridiculous with it)
This is the “WAVE” (shouts out to Max B) of the future of R&B.. Yes, there is a new hybrid of artist who fuse rap and R&B (Drake, Trey Songz and Chris Brown), but Tim Vocals has taken this new lane of R&B thuggery to another realm.. Honestly, it’s kind of refreshing to hear.. #Goonin&Croonin
